Mechanical Design
Our robot was constructed with components designed in Solidworks and laser cut in 1/8 inch and 1/4 inch Duron. The technical drawings of these components are below. The body of the robot was held together with three vertical 1/4-20 threaded rods each 11.75 inches long. Other components that were purchased are listed below and include two longboard wheels, three motors, two spider couplings, two drive shafts, and numerous nuts, bolts, and washers.
